From Near-Death to Vitality: Why I Created the “Vital AF” Retreat for Women Over 50

At 24, just six weeks before my wedding, I nearly died from a ruptured ovarian torsion.

I had been ignoring the pain—like so many of us do—until it landed me in the ER, bleeding internally and needing emergency surgery to save my life.

That experience changed everything.

It lit a fire in me to never ignore my body again.

It sparked a lifelong passion for health—and a mission to help women tune into their own wellness before it’s too late.

Fast-forward 30 years, and I’m now a Board-Certified Health Coach specializing in behaviour change.

I’ve worked with thousands of women and seen firsthand that most don’t need another diet or fitness plan.

They need a better way—one that works with their life, not against it.

That’s why I created Vital AF, a one-day retreat in Toronto for women over 50 who are ready to stop pushing health to the bottom of the list and start building a plan that truly works.

This isn’t a spa day. It’s a full-body reset. Here’s what you’ll get:

A clear vision of the health you want—and why it matters now more than ever
A personalized playbook you can stick to, even when life throws curveballs
Functional outdoor movement that feels like joy, not punishment
A gourmet lunch and snacks (yes, chocolate included)
Connection with like-minded women who are also choosing vitality over burnout

You’ll leave with more than motivation.

You’ll leave with clarity, energy, and a concrete plan to thrive.

Because you don’t need more willpower.

You need a plan rooted in what truly matters to you.

And I’m here to help you create it.

Playfully yours,
