Motivation Mondays – You don’t need to be athletic to move your body!

Healthier exercise habits can be easier to make when you make them playful.

A lot of people don’t like working out or moving their bodies because they don’t think they’re athletic.

The truth is you don’t have to be athletic to move your body.  Why?

When you get the idea that you need to be athletic to move out of your head, you’ll be able to show up more consistently because you’ll be focussing on enjoyment rather than performance.  What I like to call play!

Choose an activity you love – not something you think you HAVE to do.

A few fun examples are walking outside, dancing in your kitchen or, even gardening – you’ll show up more consistently.

You just have to give it time.

Adding a little bit every day adds tremendous health habits in a year.

With that mindset change, now is as good as time as any to start.
