What if your health were a science experiment?

What if your health were a science experiment?

“I know what to do; I just have a hard time following through,” she said.

It was the first thing my new client blurted out when we sat down to chat this week.

She’d tried the diets. The apps. The rules.

And every time something didn’t work, she blamed herself.

So I asked: “What if it’s not you that’s broken? What if your health is a science experiment — and every setback is just data?”

Her shoulders relaxed. “No one’s ever said that to me before.”

That’s when everything started to shift.

Finding sustainable health is a lot like a science experiment.

You’re not failing. You’re testing.

Behaviour change isn’t about getting it perfect — it’s about getting curious.

Try. Observe. Adjust. Repeat.

Whether it’s sleep, stress, food, or fitness (play!) — you don’t need a rigid plan.

You need a hypothesis, a tiny action, and the willingness to see what happens.

So what if you run your own 5-Day “Health Lab” Experiment?

Pick one tiny thing to test this week — not to fix yourself, but to learn about yourself.

Here are a few ideas:

💧 Try sipping a glass of water before coffee and see how your energy levels feel.

🚶‍♀️ Take a 5-minute walk after dinner and observe how it affects your digestion.

📵 Shut down screens 30 minutes before bed and track your sleep quality.

Write down one question: “What will I learn from this?”

You are the scientist. Your life is the lab.

Remember: There’s no failure—only feedback.

When you treat your health like a joyful experiment, everything gets lighter.

You don’t need a full plan. You need one small, curious step.

Play on!
